Personality Person From Bazi Perspective

Ten Heavenly Stems

The 10 Heavenly Stems and the 12 Earthly Branches are a must-know if you are to practice Bazi. The reason for this is that each of the characters represented by the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches allow us to derive in-depth insights into a person's character, potential, and destiny just by their mere appearance on a Bazi Chart.
The Heavenly Stem of your Day of Birth is referred to as the "Day Master." Your Day Master represents your basic nature, your characteristics, your behavior, even your appearance. The Day Master is your personal element.

Jia Wood Day Masters are commonly steady, forthright, direct (sometimes tactless) and stern, generally not animated types. Stiff is probably a good way to describe Jia Wood people. They can also be thick, not in terms of lacking in intelligence, but with regard to their perception of what is going on around them. They sometimes appear unfeeling but it is not because they don't care, but rather, they simply are not tuned in to what is going on around them. Jia Wood people are usually determined and keen to improve their lives. However, they also tend to be quite conservative and reluctant to make changes.

Yin Wood people are quite the opposite of Jia Wood people. One of their defining characteristics is their flexibility and adaptability. Like twines that eventually reach the sunlight at the top of the forest canopy, Yi Wood types always find their way in life. They have a survivalist nature. Yi Wood people are generally not ruthless and their ability to adapt to changes quickly is always a strong point in their favor. These are people who avoid trouble by ducking out of the way or slinking away until the trouble dies down. However, Yi Wood types also tend to be like grass in the wind - they are fickle and rarely commit one way or another. They change their minds quickly and can be difficult to keep up with because they refuse to stick to one course of action.

Bing Fire, like the fire of the sun, radiates warmth. It's rare to meet a Bing Fire who hasn't touch someone's life. Bing Fire types are usually generous and open. They can be vibrant, vivacious, and yes, sunny in disposition, or gloomy and not very good at expressing their feelings. Most Bing Fire are sincere, just, and upright, noble types. They rarely have a hidden agenda and are frequently not the type to hold a grudge. They are sentimental, charitable, and usually passionate about a cause, a belief, or a principle. Bing Fire people, however, think the world revolves around them. They are often very routine-oriented and easily reach a plateau, becoming bored with their jobs or work.

Ding Fire people are born leaders. They take pride in showing people the way. Sometimes, they are fickle but they have a tremendous ability to rise to great occasions. Ding Fire types are meticulous, detail-oriented and sentimental. Ding Fire people are great motivators. The downside is, sometimes, they are easily de-motivated.

Wu Earth Day Masters are almost always solid, steady, dependable types, who are trustworthy and loyal. Wu Earth people are very protective so if your best friend is a Wu Earth Day Master, they will definitely be someone you can count on to watch your back. Wu Each types, however, tend to be unwavering and stubborn. They are at best inflexible, at worse, immovable, be it when it comes to taking action or their personal nature. Sometimes, it is this pigheadedness that gets them in trouble.

Yang Earth
Ji Earth people are nurturing, productive, and resourceful. Ji Earth Day Masters are usually good-hearted and are people to count on. Ji Earth usually puts up with quite a bit of abuse and will not withdraw its support just because of a little bit of unpleasantness. Ji Earth people are always understanding of other people's weaknesses and fallacies. They rarely see the worst in people. The common weakness of Ji Earth Day Masters is a lack of adaptability, and frequently an inability to make quick or spontaneous decisions.

Geng Metal like the sword and the axe, represents endurance and stamina. These types are usually tough people who can tolerate hardship and endure suffering. They often achieve their goals through blood, sweat, and tears. Geng Metal people are usually hands-on types who will not hesitate to do something themselves, if they think that is the better way to get something done. Geng Metal people are altruistic types, who value friendship and brotherhood. They are also usually leaders or have strong characters. Their weakness however is a lack of flexible thinking and sometimes, they are hasty in their actions.

Xin Metal Day Masters are usually attention-getters. These types loves being in the spotlight and the focal point of everyone and if they are not, they tend to make a scene. Xin Metal types often seem rough and unyielding but bending their ear is not difficult if you know how to go about persuading them. Xin Metal people often value relationships and are sentimental but their tendency to steal the show, or hog the limelight, can be annoying. Face value is very important to a Xin Metal Day Master, which is also their downfall.

Ren Water people, like the water of the river and the sea, are always on the move. Adaptive, intelligent, and usually unable to stand or sit still. Ren Water people are also usually extroverts. Ren Water people are adventurous people who enjoy robust activities. When they put their mind to it, Ren Water people are unstoppable! They are however often rebellious and dislike being made to conform.

Gui Water people are also no the types to sit still. They make good teachers. They are usually introverts, but are imaginative and creative. These types value principles and often think of the greater good. Gui Water people have one disadvantage and that is the lack of staying power with any endeavor.
